THE BRITISH BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Developing a uniquely British identity which turned players into local heroes, ready for use across sold out finals at the O2 Arena London, the Utilita Arena Birmingham, and Emirates Arena Glasgow.

Having been heavily involved in a successful pitch, a handful of concept graphics turned into 1000+ assets across the season. Know Our Name centred around making local heroes of players and fuelling friendly rivalries as British Basketball aims to make its mark on the UK’s sporting landscape. Inspired by gritty British scenery and the more bright, positive feel of the NBA, I created a visual identity which was rooted in British culture and could be used across multiple channels with room to evolve over the season.

As well as hero graphics and templated graphics for social media and paid, I also animated a set of motion graphics for use on the LED screens around the court and large-scale print graphics used across the arena.
